As the first quarter of 2021 draws to a close, Sensor Tower has provided a snapshot of the horror gaming category on the iOS platform in Brazil. The data reveals intriguing trends in downloads and user engagement for the top five horror games.

Starting with Granny, despite generating no revenue, the game saw a peak in downloads reaching 6.6K in the third week of January and a similar spike in weekly active users with 19.1K in the same period. Downloads and active users showed a general decline afterward, stabilizing at around 2.2K downloads and 9.6K active users by the end of March.

tinyBuild LLC's Hello Neighbor maintained a steady revenue stream, peaking at $315 in the last week of January. The game also experienced its highest number of weekly downloads (5.6K) and active users (15.1K) in early March.

Dead by Daylight Mobile from Behaviour Interactive Inc. showed a fluctuating revenue pattern, with a notable peak of $1.3K in the fourth week of February. The game's downloads remained consistent, averaging around 1.8K per week, while active users saw a slight increase from 6.3K to 6.4K in the first week of March.

Scary Teacher 3D by GenITeam LLC displayed a revenue high of $241 in the second week of March. Downloads for the game peaked at 2.4K in mid-March, and the weekly active user count showed a significant rise, reaching 13.8K by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, Five Nights at Freddy's AR from Illumix, Inc. had an irregular revenue pattern but hit a high of $338 in the third week of March. Downloads saw a mid-quarter spike at 2.3K, and active users more than doubled from 2.8K at the start of March to 4K by the quarter's end.
